‍Developed and directed by Dr. Tentinger, our evidence-based approach includes targeted, separate MRIs of the internal body, dedicated CT imaging, DEXA bone scan and body composition, and for women a QTI breast ultrasound (to provide an additional screening tool as an adjunct to 3D mammograms). This targeted strategy provides superior, high-resolution imaging, enabling the earliest possible detection and most accurate diagnosis. MRI
‍With a magnetic field strength twice as powerful as standard MRIs, our advanced 3T, research-grade MRI scanner delivers exceptional, higher resolution images with greater detail, providing superior image clarity in less time which allows us to identify more subtle findings and earlier detection of cancer.

CT Scanner and Cleerly AI
‍We utilize the lowest possible radiation dose, minimizing patient risk, while maintaining superior image quality for our CT scans. Going beyond standard cardiac tests, we partner with Cleerly for coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) exams. Cleerly is a comprehensive, AI-driven platform that quantifies and assesses coronary artery disease. The AI software quantifies atherosclerosis by measuring plaque volume, composition, length, and location, evaluates stenosis severity and the presence of ischemia (reduced blood flow to certain parts of the body). The detailed Cleerly report helps assess the patient’s true risk of a heart attack with higher accuracy.  

‍DEXA Scans
‍DEXA scans are the gold standard for measuring bone density and assessing body composition, offering a precise and reliable assessment of visceral fat, muscle mass, sarcopenia, metabolic health and bone density. We offer DEXA scans to help provide a clearer picture of your health so you can make informed wellness decisions.  

‍Breast Imaging
‍For women, Innovative Radiology offers QTI whole breast ultrasound—a revolutionary, radiation and compression-free breast ultrasound, a supplemental breast screening ideal for dense breasts and implants. We were the first radiology imaging center in the country and the first and only current facility in Iowa to offer QTI whole breast ultrasound.

‍Our multidisciplinary team of board-certified doctors and nurses, licensed technologists and care team work together to support you throughout your journey, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care. All imaging is done by licensed technologists with years of experience. Dr. John Tentinger, Mayo-trained and board-certified Radiologist, reads and interprets all images.
